The EGSE Software LabVIEW Engineer will support the Orion Program in Denver, CO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the Orion Ground Software Test Set Operations team by designing, developing, testing, integrating, troubleshooting, and upgrading software used in electrical ground support equipment for the Orion spacecraft.
• This work will involve extensive use of NI LabVIEW, including LabVIEW FPGA and LabVIEW Real-Time, to create and maintain test and measurement applications.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable software development standards and best practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Work within Linux-based environments.
• Interface with various test and measurement instruments such as power supplies, DAQs, DMMs, switches, and relays.
• Implement and support communication protocols including VISA, TCP/IP, and serial interfaces, and contribute to Agile and DevOps workflows as needed.
• All work shall be performed in a collaborative team environment with a focus on long-term system reliability and mission success.
• Other duties as assigned.

• This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
• Must have a bachelor's degree in the field of engineering, computer systems, or a related field.
• Must have 7+ years of recent and related work experience.
• Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) Certification is required.
• Requires the ability to apply advanced knowledge of computer systems, programming architectures, data acquisition hardware, and information processing techniques to deliver reliable and scalable mission solutions.

WORK LOCATION:

• This position is located onsite.
• This position may require some travel.

BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS REQUIRED:

• Ability to work outside normal schedule and adjust schedule to meet peak periods and surge requirements.

SALARY RANGE:

$130,000.00 to $160,000.00, salary will depend on education and experience.
